Mitsubishi Motors - Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
BACKGROUND
Mitsubishi’s Outlander PHEV Plug-in Hybrid is a highly successful car. After the introduction, the current website was in need of a make-over. Mitsubishi turned to us and asked to create a new digital presence. The digital presence needed to give information about the car, the way you handle it and how to fully enjoy every moment driving it. It really needed to stick, and regarded as a unique presence amongst existing automotive sites.

WHY IT MAKES OUR HEART TICK
A lot of automotive websites are the same: a set of car pictures combined with an invite to order a brochure or visit the dealer to try the car during a test drive. For Mitsubishi, we came up with a new idea. Because the car is a fine example of technological craftsmanship, we wanted to incorporate this element in the website. For this strategy, we needed to explore new possibilities.
THE IDEA
Meet the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Both from the inside and the outside. You decide which aspects are of importance to you. Use the x-ray slider to peek inside the car and learn how the car is built. Animations are used to clarify the story behind the car and its components. Interested in more details? THE RESULTS
We delivered a website which really stands out from both a functional and visual perspective. The website offers a user friendly environment in which the customer can learn more about the car and choose which information is relevant.
