Microsoft - TechDays 2015

Background

TechDays is the largest Microsoft event in The Netherlands, particularly for IT professionals and developers. For the seventeenth time, famous national and international speakers in the tech field will hit the stage of the World Forum in The Hague. The event serves excellent keynotes, practical workshops and lots of sessions. Participants can get inspiration and knowledge, as well as meeting new people. For the latest edition of the event, Microsoft asked us to come up with a brand new widespread strategy, identity and digital campaign.

Why it makes our heart tick

The TechDays brand has a dynamic identity which changes with every edition of the event. This initiates a lot of creative space, but the identity has to be recognizable and liked by the audience as well as Microsoft. Microsoft gave us no boundaries, except that the outcome should fit within their initial brand guidelines. It gave us the opportunity to excel and show a visual presence of what we are truly capable of.

The idea

Say hello to the TechDays 2015 brand. With vibrant colors – all part of the Microsoft brand guidelines of course – the user gets a tasty look of the upcoming event and all the speakers who join the stage. The usual elements on an event website have been rethought and reshaped so they would nicely fit together with the rest of the website.

 

The participant can easily make a personal program which can be shared via e-mail. Because the website is built responsive, the user can check the website on any device and on the fly, even during the event.
